If you're in the market for a Champ, this might be your ticket. It is really hard to find a cleaner example, especially one that still has the original handle intact. Well, we do have another clean one too - a '58 that you should check out if you're looking at this one!
A couple disclaimers here, both of which are made up for in the overall condition of the amp, in my humble opinion: the tube chart is gone. You can see where it was adhered, but alas it is not there.
The amp came to me with the original speaker, which had been reconed with an 8 ohm kit, which didn’t allow the amp to open up and really sing. I just got the speaker back from Speaker Repair Pros in Costa Mesa, CA, where they reconed it correctly. the speaker is a 61 and has the Fender ink stamp that would also have been on the tube chart.
The filter caps have been changed and the power cord as well, so this one is ready to go! Original parts included.
